2010 Ford Escape Tire Pressure Sensor Fault. I took it to a mechanic who checked the tire pressure in each wheel and the message disappeared (at least until we were down the road a mile or two). There is most likely an issue with a tire pressure sensor or the connection to the sensor.
If the vehicle has been stationary for more than 30 minutes, the sensors will go into a sleep mode to conserve battery power. The tire pressure sensor is misplaced or destroyed. During the tire servicing, the mechanic would often access the sensors, and if an inexperienced person tampers with the wiring, there may be a short circuit.
